Candidate Participation

In the near future, we will offer some features for Candidates and Campaigns to improve their presence in the Internet Voters Guide. While we will never waiver from our Fairness Doctrine, which guarantees absolute neutrality and equality of coverage, we will give each campaign the opportunity to participate with the Internet Voters Guide on a closer basis and create new ways to interact with voters.

For candidates without the wherewithal to produce an Internet presence, this opportunity can be a blessing for you -- a chance to effectively create a web site, or at least a good splash page advertising your candidacy.

For all candidates it will provide the opportunity to interact with debaters in our upcoming Candidate Debate Forum. In that forum, users will be able to discuss and debate the candidates in a blog-like atmosphere. However, the ambience will be closer to a public library during a week day than a noisy bar on a Saturday night. In our Debate Forum we will moderate all remarks and enforce our Code of Civility.

Come back here soon for details of our plans. Meanwhile, please review your candidate information to verify that the information is accurate and representative of your campaign as you see it. If you would like to change any part of it, you can E-MAIL HERE TO SUGGEST CHANGES. Keep in mind that only registered users can suggest changes, and we will need a contact that we can speak to by telephone to confirm the request.

IF YOU ARE ALREADY A REGISTERED USER but not a Registered Candidate (this applies to the candidate and/or the candidate's designated agent), you can E-MAIL HERE TO REGISTER AS A CANDIDATE. We will require independent confirmation of the status in order to avoid attempts of fraudulent representation.

IF YOU ARE NOT A REGISTERED USER, you must register as a user and denote that you are also registering as a candidate. Either a candidate or a candidate's designated agent may register a candidate, but we will require independent confirmation of the status in order to avoid attempts of fraudulent representation.
